EICR in St Andrews

Electrical inspections in St Andrews

We carry out EICRs across St Andrews and the KY postcode area, and in nearby Dundee (11 miles), Kirkcaldy (21 miles), Perth (25 miles), Edinburgh (31 miles). Local housing ranges across sandstone and granite tenements with shared closes, plus short-let flats in the cities, so we price by bedrooms and consumer units and confirm the cost before anyone visits.

Landlord rules in St Andrews

The Repairing Standard (Housing (Scotland) Act 2006). Private landlords need an EICR at least every five years, and portable appliances they supply must be PAT tested. Both are checked if a tenant applies to the First-tier Tribunal.

Landlords here register with Fife Council. If the Repairing Standard is not met, including a current EICR and PAT testing, tenants can apply to the Housing and Property Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal.
